Ross D. Stone, a native of Jacksonville, Illinois, joined Sorling Northrup as a summer associate in 2023, and returned upon being admitted to practice law in 2024. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, contracts, and business formation and transactions.

Ross graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Political Science (B.A., 2021) and received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (2024).  While attending law school, Ross served as a Managing Editor for The Ohio State Technology Law Journal and the president of the school’s real estate law association.

Ross is a member of the Illinois State and Sangamon County Bar Associations.
