Mallory R. Maag concentrates her practice in civil litigation matters including contract disputes, personal injury, commercial/corporate litigation, employment law, and real property disputes. She first joined Sorling Northrup in 2023 as a summer associate and returned following her graduation from law school in 2024. Mallory was admitted to practice law on November 6, 2024.
Mallory, originally from Jerseyville, Illinois, graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a B.S. in Economics (2019). While working in finance, she went on to attend Louisiana State University Shreveport, earning her Master of Business Administration from the College of Business (2021). She graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Simmons Law School (formerly Southern Illinois University School of Law) (2024). Mallory was a member of the SIU Moot Court Board which led to her induction into the Order of the Barristers. She also served as the Managing Editor for SIU Law Journal’s issues published from Fall 2023 through Summer 2024. During law school, Mallory authored a published note exploring the nationwide impact of the United States Supreme Court’s decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022) on medical providers and women with chronic illness.
Mallory is a member of the Sangamon County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and The American Bar Association.
