Christine L. Self joined Sorling Northrup upon graduation from St. Louis University School of Law in May 2015. She was admitted to practice law in Illinois the same year. Ms. Self interned at Sorling in the summer of 2014.
While in law school, Ms. Self worked in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. She focused her work there on assisting low income clients with development of non- profit organizations and intellectual property matters.
Ms. Self is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Sangamon County Bar Association. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1994, and her Master of Arts degree in history from SIU-E in 2002. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Self taught social studies at Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois, from 2005 until 2012. During her tenure at Glenwood High she was the coach of the school’s Mock Trial Team from 2009 to 2012.
Ms. Self’s practice areas include Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment, and Intellectual Property.
