Gregory E. Moredock, a Springfield, IL native, graduated cum laude as a John W. Berry Sr. Scholar from the University of Dayton in 2010. He earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2013. While in law school, Mr. Moredock worked as a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project where he was awarded the Lois Rosenthal Award for exhibiting the highest level of skill, determination, and passion for justice. He served as a senior articles editor for Human Rights Quarterly and provided pro-bono legal services to local indigent tenants through volunteering with the Tenant Information Project. Mr. Moredock served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Sandra Beckwith of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Mr. Moredock joined Sorling Northrup upon his graduation and has worked extensively in civil litigation and municipal government. Mr. Moredock’s practice includes: administrative adjudication, litigation, appellate advocacy, and advising local governmental bodies on day-to-day issues such as statutory compliance, taxation, land usage, and general practice and procedures.

Mr. Moredock is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
