Kirk W. Laudeman joined Sorling Northrup on June 1, 2015 and has practiced law in Springfield since 1991. He concentrates his practice in the representation of professionals and insurance defense litigation in the Illinois state and federal courts. In addition Mr. Laudeman advises a number of businesses on their corporate matters and daily business activities.
His representation of professionals focuses on the defense of professional liability claims in the Illinois state and federal courts. He also represents health care providers before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as well as other state regulatory agencies.
Mr. Laudeman represents a wide variety of interests in the health care industry, including medical practices, individual health care providers and long term care facilities. He works with the firm’s health care industry clients on regulatory compliance and business matters, including contract preparation, corporate succession planning, HIPAA, and HITECH.
Mr. Laudeman has tried over 35 cases to jury verdict and has handled numerous cases in the Illinois state and federal appellate courts.
